I'm Rose. And I'm a Documentary Junkie

I've thought long and hard, and damn near busted my beautiful brains in attempt to remember what exactly turned me out to documentaries and docu-series television yet I can't recollect anything in particular. However, the one thing that I can say that I truly appreciate and value about documentaries and docu-series television is that, it is obligated and mandated to produce and report official and factual events regarding the subject/matter on record.
I recollect coming home after school in 3rd grade at an early age to rush through homework just so that I could watch Rescue 911 - a docudrama aired by CBS. Although certain scenes were exaggerated for the sake of dramatization, I was so amazed and intrigued by the reality and rawness of it all at that time. I've always been the type to seek for educational knowledge, stimulation, and wisdom in television as well as everything else in my journey, and I never felt such fulfillment watching fabricated television shows. Hence why I can't sit in a movie theater and watch anything on the silver screen for too long if it isnt stimulating or peeking my interest - haters will say it's ADHD 
I find certain  Reality Television to be entertaining, but I find nothing more gratifying and exciting to me than a good documentary that shares the subject's journey with it's watchers by presenting raw footage, official facts, official documents, and more official content.

I literally watch 1 to 2 documentaries per night - more times than often I binge, and I've come across some amazing titles which are now my favorites. I don't prefer any subject in particular, and I'll watch any type of documentary just as long as it is relevant to my interest, and it looks  GOOD! And again, I absolutely love ALL docu-tv all the way down to American True Crime Docu-series shows that air on  networks such as the ID Channel, TVOne  ( Fatal Attraction, For My Man ) and others like A&E and the BIO Channel- the network that used to show my favorite of all time, I Survived.

There has been so many times when I've actually wanted to share certain shows / series / episodes as well as my perspective on some good titles that I've caught in the past. Therefore, I'll be sharing some amazing documentaries on the site in addition to my personal opinion and reviews. At the end of the day, some of you will be just as strung out off documentaries as I am. Just kidding  Wait on it though. Xo
